The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce will be presenting their annual ATHENA® Leadership Award and Young ATHENA® Award at the 2026 Women In Business Breakfast (in recognition of International Women's Day) on Friday March 6th. 2026.
The ATHENA® Leadership Award is presented to an individual who is recognized for their professional excellence, for making a difference in their community and for actively assisting women in the attainment of their professional goals and leadership skills. ??The nominee demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession; provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life of others in the community; actively assists women in realizing their full leadership potential.
The Young ATHENA® Award celebrates emerging leaders (under age 40) who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession. The nominee provides valuable service to enhance the quality of life for others in the community and serves as a clear role model for young women, both personally and professionally.
